Jon Ekroth's Linkedin Analytics

My name is Jon Ekroth, and I'm excited to connect with you on LinkedIn. For the past 17 years, I've been working as a Production Chemist and Coordinator, and while I've made the most of my time there, I'm ready for a new challenge that will allow me to work with data. After serious soul-searching, I've decided to make a career change and dive headfirst into the world of data analytics. I've always been drawn to data and making it visual and I know that my analytical skills, passion for learning and attention to detail will serve me well in this new field. To prepare for my career transition, I've been studying and practicing data projects through two data analytics bootcamps. I'm excited by what I've learned so far but I'm just scratching the surface of what I would like to learn. I really enjoy problem solving and troubleshooting. I can't wait to start applying my new skills and developing new ones to solve real-world problems and making a meaningful impact. I have experience in programming and data visualization using Python, SQL, Excel and Tableau. When I'm not thinking about data analytics, you can usually find me landscaping or taking and processing nature photos. I'm a big fan of geography, weather and maps, and enjoy spending time with my family. I'm excited to connect with others in the data analytics community and learn as much as I can from those who have come before me.
