My role entails:
- Conducting thorough product market research to aid placement towards the appropriate consumers
-Managing all social channels, with the ability to lead daily, weekly and monthly planning of all social content alongside.
-Data analytic reporting on social media activity (weekly then monthly overall reports) Presenting visual representation of results to wider teams/steakholders, providing insights in to what was successful or requires optimisation.
- Providing in depth Google Analytic reports for the website (weekly & monthly) highlight where our traffic has came from campaign wise.
-Project planning campaigns ensuring internal and external resources are available to achieve the objectives.
-Developing strategy and campaign ideas to maximise follower numbers.
-Growing new channels and/or implement any improvements to existing channels. 
-Working closely with the team to ensure campaigns and communication is fluid throughout.
-Paid Ad campaigns - Deploying and reporting on target paid ad campaigns. Regularly measuring the resulting data captured.

Managing and creating content for the store’s social media channels (Tik Tok, Facebook & Instagram). Prescheduling content via use of ‘Later’ platform.

Sainsbury's

Visual merchandising across the store positioning promotional company signage, product branding and food positioning.

• Development of communication and interpersonal skills due to working as part of a team within a pressurised customer service environment throughout all departments.

• Administrative duties compiled through ordering non-consumables for the store’s departments to a budget, including colleague uniform orders.

• Part of the Sainsbury’s colleague council, where I would voice any concerns of fellow colleagues’ and provide areas for improvement.

General Assistant

Decathlon UK

The objective of the placement was to increase awareness of the store’s online and physical presence by 30% through marketing campaigns, which was successfully achieved:

• Turning all social media account pages to business profiles allowing for data analytics to be gathered providing the ability to track audience engagement levels throughout the campaigns, which helped to highlight what worked well and what could be improved upon.

• Gathering images and recording videos throughout the store to create a promotional video that was uploaded as part of a paid advertisement campaign across social media accounts to engage customer awareness within a 5-mile radius of store and also providing a snippet of products they offer.

• The important routine of pre-scheduling content and regularly posting across Decathlon’s various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter & Instagram). The campaigns were released in a mini- series of posts named “The University Takeover” published on behalf of Decathlon to help increase audience engagement.

• Hosted a Charity Sunday football cup with participation from local grassroots clubs. Decathlon provided equipment for the tournament and a donation from funds gathered on the day went to the winning club’s charity of choice.

• The team (of 3) then implemented the 12 days of Sport (Christmas Twist) digital campaign which showcased different sporting products which could be purchased from the store or online. A competition whereby followers would tag 3 people and share the post across their social media was an effective method to increase following.
     
The goals reached:
• Successfully attracted over 500 followers across Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
• The campaign was successfully executed as there was an increase in audience engagement levels by 44%.

Digital Marketing Intern

Irish Football Association

Corresponding with Regional Sport Development Officers, Primary School coaches, the Marketing team and general administrative duties (an eyeful across several departments). Tasks such as producing key notes through PowerPoint presentation for several staff meetings, responding to any queries through email / telephone and creating poster/leaflets to help promote the latest sporting campaign e.g., Primary School Sport involvement.

I further helped to construct and administrate an IFA promotional fun day for primary schools within my local area, which included small sided football games, inflatables and competitions to win prizes etc.

Volunteered as part of the media team during the Women’s Under 19 European finals which were held across Northern Ireland. My roles involved signing in the visiting media teams and providing them with access passes for and around the stadiums. I assigned them to their allocated seating area and distribute the match day team sheets I had produced in both paper and digital format. At the end of the games, I dealt with the media team’s requests setting up interviews with selected players/managers.

Additionally, I have volunteered on international match days at the National Home stadium, from roles such as seat allocation, ticketing or working at the fan zone.

Assisted with the clubs social media content through posting club related news, live score updates and the addition of the LDFC match highlight's show. This role provided knowledgable insight in to the importance and awareness of social media presence in sport at any level.
