It is no secret, organizations around the world are looking to become more digitally and data-driven. The question then becomes: how? To close the data skills gap and establish a data-centric culture, we need to look at the upskilling and respelling of individuals and workforces. Through education and training, organizations can create a culture where everyone has the skills and is encouraged to be curious about data. As a Global Trailblazer in data literacy, I help individuals and organizations realize their potential through proper data literacy learning and practice. I travel the world, in-person or virtually, speaking on various topics within data and analytics. Such topics include data literacy, data-driven, and data storytelling. In my career, I have traveled the world speaking on data literacy. I currently own and founded Bodhi Data. Before that, I was VP and Head of Data and Analytics for Brainstorm. Before the transition to BrainStorm, Inc., I worked for Pluralsight, a technology skills-learning company. Before there, I led and developed the world's first and premier data literacy program at Qlik. While at Qlik, I won numerous awards, both internal (President's Award) and external. Before my time at Qlik, I was involved in the development of the Business Intelligence group for the United States Consumer Card group at American Express. For my involvement that led to the creation of strategic reports, curriculum and training for this program, I was awarded the President's Club Award in 2017. I’m passionate about bringing the human touch to a world of numbers. I get the greatest feeling of satisfaction when I can help people see and understand the power that data and analytics can bring to them -- in their careers, their businesses or in their personal lives. When not working with helping our customers upskill their organizations’ capabilities, I can be found with my family or trail running the mountains of Utah.
