LEP (Large Electron Positron Collider): Thermal analysis for ultimate working energy level (heat deposition on vacuum chamber walls due to synchrotron radiation).

LHC (Large Hadron Collider): thermal and structural analyses for a number of components and detectors. CFD analysis of the tunnel section to investigate location for thermal insultation of the dipole to avoid heating due to electronics racks. Buckling analysis of the drift sections, loads analysis of the DBF Module (operating and quench conditions). Experimental study and test of the LHC beam screen during quench (paper at Chicago PAC-2001).
