Worked as a substitute instructor in Concordia's Data Science bootcamp. Engaged in 1-on-1 instruction,  taught lectures, and graded students' workshops and projects.

Walmart Canada

Move to a significantly larger store. Accountable for general management of the store's daily operations. As an assistant manager I was responsible for managing my departments’ metrics (KPIs, OKRs) as well as understanding the business of the store on a whole. I used Tableau and MS Excel extensively to access data and generate reports to drive decision-making. I also took key highlights from the overall store data to communicate the health of the business to hourly associates in an easily understandable way in our daily huddles.

Assistant Store Manager

- Operations related: managing end-to-end operations in the TLE, maintaining merchandising and in-stock standards in the Automotive sales department, assisting with projects and operations in the rest of the store on an as-needed basis, customer relations

Specialty Manager, Tire & Lube Express

Increase in responsibility. Responsible for overseeing daily operations in the produce department. Responsibilities included maintaining standards of excellence in quality and merchandising, task assignment, training associates, providing feedback to associates as well as to my manager, inventory accuracy, and hitting department specific KPI targets.

Department Manager, Produce

Promotion to department manager. Responsible for supervising a team of associates tasked with supporting the zoning of the store, merchandise recovery, greeting, and cashier breaks. Daily tasks included scheduling breaks, assigning associates to areas of the store to cover for zoning and customer experience, assigning tasks given to me by management, and following up on all of the above.

My first role with Walmart Canada. Responsible for regular stocking tasks, culling out of date or low quality product, customer service. Became the early morning lead, starting at 5AM and receiving daily produce order.
