Helping new instructional designers build a thriving network and grow in their careers ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿฝ Are you new to instructional design? Do you struggle with networking and building industry connections? You're not alone. I have spent the past three years working to overcome these challenges. I'm an instructional designer with expertise in project management, UX/UI design, and employee enablement. My goal is to help new instructional designers find their footing in the industry, build a strong network, and focus on personal development. For three years, I tutored Spanish and Portuguese to service representatives and business executives at the Provo Missionary Training Center. By helping them achieve their language goals using SMART goals, personalized study plans, and ACTFL principles, I discovered my passion for learning and performance improvement. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท Pursuing this passion, I completed a masterโ€™s degree in Instructional Psychology and Technology (IP&T) from Brigham Young University, which equipped me with the skills to apply instructional design theories and program evaluation methods to various projects and contexts. As a Sales Enablement Coordinator at Vivint, I've driven revenue growth for Field Operations, a workforce of over 1,500 employees. Join a growing network of 2,000+ Learning and Development professionals. Together, we share ways to network and grow in our careers. Here's how you can start: ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿฝ Identify a Clear Vision: Define your career goals and realistic steps to achieve them. Engage with Your Network: Start small, engage with your network, and gain new insights. Grow Consistently: Over time, increase your engagement to make more connections and meet new people. Networking and personal development can be awkward and push us out of our comfort zones. But by starting small and gradually increasing your engagement, you can build confidence and create meaningful connections. Follow and connect with me to learn and grow together! I'll be sharing more resources and tools to help you on your journey to becoming a successful instructional designer.
