Stoked to see a lot of people starting Substacks or similar newsletters. But…

The ugly truth is writing is hard work. Most people will write a few articles, lose interest, and quit. I see this on Substack where 90%+ of newsletters lose steam after a couple of weeks.

Like anything, writing is a habit. Build the muscle memory with sets and reps. It’s just that easy ;)

One piece of advice: develop a consistent writing habit. Aim for a metric like word count, % completion, time, etc. Keep at it.

For some reason, I'm getting quite a few messages asking me to "give my post more reach." 

Sorry, but unless we're really good friends with solid rapport, this feels ick and transactional at best, and also disrespectful. If we're connections and you do this, your connection will be removed and your message sent to purgatory. 

Respect gets respect. On the other hand, transactional (take, take, take) behavior will be treated accordingly. I'm not here to be your PR or marketing agency.

Hi everyone. Got a tiny matter of a new book and associated content I need to finish, plus launching something else new :) Lots in store.

So, I’m in lockdown mode until end of year, and likely into January too. That means no new meetings unless we currently have something going on ($$$).
