“Choose a job you love, and you'll never have to work a day in your life” – Confucius. An average human spends a third of their life at work (approx. 90,000 hours). Your work thus determines the quality of your life. How do you choose the kind of work that you will spend your life on? Unfortunately, most of us don’t get to choose our work, our work chooses us. We get busy with what is in front of us and that’s okay, if we get to learn more about ourselves and create a positive impact that fulfils us. But it’s not okay if we are working in toxic workplaces or mindless work that drain us every day. Fulfilling work impacts our community and makes us happy, but there is a problem. Finding fulfilling work is a challenge in a world of numerous job opportunities, lots of choices and deceitful recruitment practices. That’s where I come in: I connect executive leaders with impactful organisations. Impactful organisations hire me through my employer to find top talent to help them move their organisation from a current state to a desired future state. My experience and consistent results show that I can assess organisations, conduct market research and introduce them to the best available talent in the market. What sets me apart from other recruiters is my focus on building relationships with candidates. With this approach, I partner with candidates to decide on if the opportunity I am presenting is their best next move and walk with them through the interview process with my clients.
