I do what it takes. As a leader, I help people around me do the same without destroying their mental and physical health. I grew up poor, so as a teen, my summers were spent in Alaska working 16 hour days, 7 days a week. Despite financial distractions, I poured myself into work, sports, and school. Eventually, I was nominated by Congress to attend West Point (The US Military Academy). After that, I spent 4.5 years in Israel, not knowing anyone there, to learn from the best about negotiation strategy and counterterrorism. I left with a massive network of incredible people. I stepped into a company with zero product-market-fit, and $0 in revenue, and helped to turn it into one of the fastest growing Ecom SaaS companies in the world. This "do what it takes" attitude propels me, and it also allows me to attract exceptional people I can teach and take inspiration from.
