I was responsible for analysing, and controlling information held in the SAP financial system which was then used for the group’s senior management for external financial reporting, analysis, and performance measurement for the WPP group.

Day-to-day duties involved:

•	Dealing with month end processes, consolidations, account reconciliations, preparation and analysis of income statements and balance sheets, to aid executive management decision-making.

•	Responsible for all management accounting reports produced by all Financial Reporting Analysts at group level to comply with SOX. 

•	Prepared financial information for Auditors, Client Directors, Strategy Directors, Group Chief Accountant, Group Financial Controllers, CFOs, and CEOs – which involved building/running/checking client sheets, monthly analysis, 5-year historical briefs and other ad hoc reports as and when requested. 

•	Responsible for reporting top level financial figures for Germany, Latin America, and the Middle East to regional CFOs.

Employed as part of the official Hewlett Packard Internship Programme. Responsible for assisting and aiding in day-to-day activities within the Financial Services department, working closely with the UK&I HPFS Director.

•	Participated in various client meetings with multibillion dollar companies which involved, networking with professionals, travelling internationally to client sites and contributing in conference calls and group debates.

•	Liaised with staff at all levels and formally recognised by the head of UK&I Asset Management for outstanding quality.
