Today things are great… most recent highlight is joining the Nike Finance Leadership Rotational Program. I’m blessed with an amazingly creative wife and 2 awesome teenage daughters. That wasn’t always the case. Rewind the clock and you’ll uncover I’ve encountered rock bottom moments and have to reinvent myself several times. I obtained my MBA in Finance and CFA charter while working full time but this didn’t protect me from a car accident that left me with a traumatic brain injury “TBI” in 2014. Non-stop headaches were the norm requiring vision therapy to train my eyes so I could read more than two sentences without getting fatigued and irritable. To put it simply -- I lost the will to live. Leveraging my faith along with concepts such as growth mindset and neuroplasticity I reinvented myself and achieved a greater level of success. Since my car accident, I’ve had many inspiring experiences including publishing Catalyst, becoming a start-up investor and advisor, facilitating career development, and Clifton Strengths (Finder) workshops at Nike.
