Salesforce Commerce Cloud / Demandware Consultant

Lyons Consulting Group

Main Responsibilities:

• Help manage $1M+ projects while working closely with Project Managers and Technical Architects to ensure deliverables not only meet, but exceed client expectations
• Work closely with clients and vendors to provide solutions for any issues or questions
• Set up all environments for team members and QA to perform their work within the Demandware / Salesforce Cloud Commerce ecosystem

Icebreaker

Main Responsibilities:

• Work with the eCommerce team to enhance user / shopping experiences as well as increase conversions and sales on the Icebreaker.com websites
• Collaborate, manage and perform UAT work with outsourced developers to solve complex problems, fix bugs and meet aggressive deadlines
• Work with employees in the United States, Canada, Germany and New Zealand to help define project scopes and enhance business processes

Key Achievements:

• Passed Demandware exam to become a certified Demandware Developer
• Played a key role in successfully launching the Icebreaker eCommerce shopping platform in France within the provided timeframe
• Fixed numerous bugs and created enhancements which have helped boost organic exposure on search engines for all the Icebreaker websites and their respective product lines
• Taught myself how to program with UX Studio and use Demandware’s Business Manager, which allowed me to pass the certification exam on my first attempt.  This has also allowed me to help some of our outsourced developers solve problems they encountered

Northwest Natural Products

Main Responsibilities:

•	Work directly with clients and IT Director to develop FDA-compliant applications for increasing productivity and efficiency throughout all facets of the corporation
•	Supervise the entire application development department to ensure deadlines are met and employees fully understand the scope of projects assigned to them
•	Provide presentations, demos and training to groups of end-users for new applications

Key Achievements:

•	Saved the corporation upwards of $500,000 per application I developed compared to commercial solutions and optimized them to dramatically increase employee performance and workflow throughout the corporation
•	Created a viral marketing campaign for the corporation, which in one day generated approximately 102 signups per minute to our newsletter and increased our website traffic by over 271,900%, all of which was completely automated and done without a spending budget or external resources
•	Promoted to Department Supervisor after 17 months of working with the corporation
•	Received several letters of thanks for the quality of my work and speed in delivery

•	Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), which is an application used by the lab for all their testing and productivity needs.  Through complex and dynamic algorithms, this application provides structured workflows of the entire testing process to determine whether tests pass or fail for FDA and trade partner audits.  It also includes sophisticated graphing and tables for data trending and bench-marking needs.
•	Portal Security Access System, which is an application to ensure all employees are granted the minimal amount of access to the corporate portal for performing their job functions.

Web Application Developer (acting Senior Developer and Dept. Supervisor)

RealeFlix

Main Responsibilities:

•	Develop cutting-edge technologies for making RealeFlix® a more informative and unique shopping experience in the real estate industry
•	Ensure contractors were meeting deadlines and working within the scope of their assigned tasks
•	Enforce data security and integrity with user accounts and payments
•	Construct and implement marketing strategies to gain nationwide recognition for RealeFlix®

•	Within ten months, RealeFlix® was consistently in the top three search results on Google, Yahoo and Bing for highly competitive keywords/phrases as well as vertical and long-tail niches

• Help clients set up computer and network peripherals to provide a functional operating environment.
• Install and secure wireless networks to help prevent unauthorized access from outside individuals or entities.
• Provide training and education to inform users on how to properly use software and hardware peripherals.

•	Work with end-users and supervisor to determine the scope of the Large Generation Interconnect Application (LGIA)
•	Design and develop the LGIA

•	Renegotiated the LGIA scope with clients to provide a better user interface and more flexible operating environment
•	Completed LGIA development, which provided a viable project-management system for BPA

Worked with founders and fellow students to help assist in the business developments of GamerzUnion and SmartPlugs.

• Performed market research and competition analysis to determine if GamerzUnion and SmartPlugs would be viable business models.
• Helped GamerzUnion founders write their business plan with other student volunteers.
• Collaborative efforts from the entire team led to GamerzUnion receiving 1st Place in the Gonzaga Business Plan Competition for the Community Sector.
