Professional Services Specialist

As a second line engineer I was given issues that had been escalated from 1st line engineers that were too complex or were not a quick fix. Duties included:

• Installing, maintaining and resolving issues with Microsoft Office Products inc SharePoint online 
• End-user /desktop support
• Setting up mobile devices and tablets for users 
• Building and configuring laptops for users 
• Backing up and restoring users data 
• Troubleshooting AV systems  
• Managing online backups 
• Hardware installations (monitors, keyboards, RAM, graphics cards etc) 
• Solving issues through remote desktop connection 
• Managing and making changes in Active Directory  
• Mail Migrations from POP3 to exchange/ Exchange to Exchange 
• Deploying and configuring desktops and laptops for user requirements

After successfully completing my apprenticeship, I worked amongst a team who collaborated to resolve a broad range of IT complications. Within this role I troubleshot a variety of issues whilst gaining knowledge and experience within the sector.
