KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee administration of the OPPA’s member website (e.g. manage discounts being offered to OPPA members, ensure accuracy of information posted, and make updates to the website as required).

Coordinate internal and external communication processes: prepare daily media summaries for internal use, respond to inquiries from the media, coordinate media engagements for the President and Board of Directors, assist in the preparation and selection of materials and services for marketing and promotion, prepare press releases, and assist OPPA’s government relations firm by communicating on issues of importance.

Prepare and disseminate information for OPPA members using various forms of media: manage releases of information through social media feeds, assist with editing for OPPA’s magazines (Beyond the Badge and Health and Wellness), and plan and prepare summaries outlining key information relevant for OPPA members.
