As a freshman in college I started a sales agency out of my college dorm room with a good friend of mine, we ended up scaling this business over COVID and got to the point where we'd even mentor people in sales. My role in the company progressed from being an Sales Development Representative and setting appointments, to an account executive and closer, and later a sales trainer. Our sales agency charge retainer + % of commission, and not everyone wanted to work with a non-internal hire so we started training people and placing them on guaranteed offers. This lead us to come up with a B2B SAAS platform called tryclosify.com, which I went on from Head of Sales or Sales Director of our agency to be the CSO of this company, and later the title of President. Had a lot of fun scaling this over a three years time span, hit 100k+ per month as CSO and managed a team of sales representatives as well as assistants and more. Currently looking for my next passion to get behind so I can use my knowledge from scaling a boot strap start up I helped found, shoot me a message and I'd love to connect.
