LEADS, LEADS, LEADS. I NEED MORE LEADS

Something most startups and small growing businesses want (including me)

🤞Some will sit and wait for referrals to drop on their laps (lucky people). Or "Word of Mouth" will work it's magic so they won't have to do any marketing 

🤞Some will attend every networking event they can find, hoping to nail that client one day

🤞Some build a website and set up a social media profile, but don't follow through with SEO, relevant content or engage on their socials (having these is just a start!)

All are ways to get new business but will these tactics CONSISTENTLY GROW a business, while you sleep? 

But really, the above activities don't give you the CONTROL you need over the growth of your business, do they? 

If you do the above and nothing else when in search of new business, the Feast and Famine cycle is almost certainly your familiar friend. 

We hear things like 

"hmmm it's been so quiet and I don't know why", 

"I learnt to build my own website, it's easy but I get no enquiries or sales from it", 

"times are tough, others are in the same boat as me so I shouldn't expect anything different" 

blah blah blah. Misery loves company 

We all know how that feels. Going back to employment, a regular salary and nice paid-for holidays start to look really attractive when we hit the famine stage of our business

I've been there since I started my agency in 2016, many times over. But honestly, it doesn't have to be like this! 

If you need new business, Marketing (and a solid Business Coach/Mentor won't hurt) is the answer to a consistent pipeline of qualified leads - not haphazard marketing tactics, but a well thought out, well executed strategy. 

You can either

1) learn "marketing" yourself and "do marketing" by trial and error OR
2) hire a trusted reputable freelancer or agency to do it so you'll save time and money in the long run

For those of us active on LinkedIn, we've heard the advice before, haven't we?

The data from 500,000 queries show Google often cites multiple sources within a single AI Overview, so it's usually a mix of content from different sources

Here are the top 5, in order of citation frequency:
