I can still remember year 2001, one year after the millennium. That was the time when everything was beautiful, and nothing hurt. I was having good grades for my every exam. I had no need to worry about food or money because I would always have 3 Ringgit a day just for my lunch and I would definitely spend it all out, maybe for three scoops of ice-cream or two bars of chocolate. That was the time when I refused to go to take a nap in the afternoon because I had to go on an adventure to fight the monsters and save the world. That was the time when my parents said no, it really meant no. When I finished watching a horror movie, I would be too scared to go upstairs alone for a whole long week, because I believed there was a bad ghost waiting for me. The thing is, whenever I think of that very young me, like now, it always brings me joy and tears at the same time. As you can see, I graduated with a first-class honor from university but decided not to further my studies because I had a family to feed. 3 Ringgit is no longer sufficient for a hearty lunch and I definitely would not spend all the money I have on hand now. I find napping and sleeping the coolest things in life (haha) but sometimes the work schedule was so full I had to work until 3AM to get the tasks done. My parents grew old, the ghost never came, yet I am still braving myself every second. I can still remember year 2021, twenty-one years after the millennium. That was the time when everything was hurt, but every one of them was extremely beautiful. I am an entrepreneur now. I have a company that I built with my sister, Yin, out of nothing, back in April 2021. Her name is Langwords. Instead of wondering who I would become, now I have goals, aspirations and responsibilities to carry on with me. I am here in the future once I dreamt about. And I love that my childhood is not the only unforgettable past that will live through the time of my life, but that afternoon my sister asked me to embark on a new journey with her which I had no idea would change my life forever, will always be there with me.
