Mission Integration helps to shape & influence how the Mission, Values, and Vision are lived out in the daily life of our ministries. It touches upon all aspects of organizational life including governance, strategy, operations & the ongoing formation of our caregivers, providers, and physicians.

In this role, I have the privilege of: 
- Serving as a trusted thought partner across the Los Angeles Providence Clinical Network, building strong relationships with clinical leaders and teams to ensure that all programs, services, and initiatives are strategically aligned with the organization's mission and values.
-Supporting and leading ongoing renewal and formation of caregivers, and partners, offering in-person, virtual, and multimedia opportunities to nurture holistic well-being and explore personal spirituality.
-Providing counsel to clinical leadership to ensure strategic decisions align with Catholic Social Teaching, ensuring that human dignity and the common good are prioritized throughout all organizational operations.
-Articulating and upholding the organization’s Catholic identity while promoting diversity and fostering an inclusive healthcare environment within the community.
-Providing guidance and spiritual support for core leaders during workforce changes or tragic events in collaboration with Human Resources, and executive leadership teams.
-Serves as liaison with local Catholic community partners and other religious and civic institutions when needed.

•	Directed the “De Colores” program; Campus Ministry’s monthly faith-based service immersion weekend to Tijuana, Mexico. Part of this role included the recruitment and formation of student groups for each engagement; coordination of a construction-type service project with a local non-profit (Build a Miracle) and an overnight visit to Casa Del Migrante, a migration shelter for migrants and refugees in Tijuana. 
•	Directed the “Feed the Hungry” program, a weekly on-campus service opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to prepare and deliver lunches to a partnering human services agency in Santa Monica, CA (The People Concern) for individuals experiencing homelessness, and/or food/housing insecurity.
•	Hire, supervise, and mentor staff of 1-3 work study students.
•	Provide ongoing pastoral and spiritual care for students, as well as serve as a resource during times of crisis.
•	Direct the annual Fall Service Retreat focused on homelessness in Los Angeles. Coordinated service placements, panel discussions, and reflections with various human services agencies on Skid Row in Downtown Los Angeles.
•	Served as a liaison to Office of Chicano/Latino Student Services to help coordinate student programming and Liturgies, including the annual Latino student spiritual retreat; Latino Heritage Mass (Misa de Herencia); Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe; and Cesar Chavez Prayer Service.
•	Assist with departmental publicity by managing website, creating graphics, and helping to provide content for social media accounts.
•	Co-Coordinated the Ignacio Companions program; Campus Ministry’s international service immersions with partnerships in Guatemala, Guyana, Ecuador, Mexico, and Cambodia. 
- Personal successes in creating program to Guadalajara, Mexico in partnership with the Jesuit University, ITESO, focused on ecological and migration justice. Re-designed and presented the leadership curriculum for student immersion leaders.

Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) funds a number of internships for Catholics in the United States to gain experience working with and on behalf of the poor. These internships occur in around thirty CCHD diocesan offices in the United States, as well as in the CCHD office of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and the office of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU) in Washington, DC.

CCHD internships combine practical work in carrying out the mandate of CCHD at the local level, opportunities to develop relationships with community leaders, reflection on Catholic social teaching, and opportunities for sharing the experience with other CCHD interns.
