I quit my 9-5 

so that I can live more! 

But Entrepreneurship is 24/7 

I work longer than ever 

Nonetheless, I never felt so alive after quitting my full time employment 

I wouldn’t trade any other way

♥️ I feel fulfilled because I know my work brings positive impact to others

Here’s the mistake most people make is to think of work life balance in terms of evenly distributed hours.

Instead of working hard to strive for work life balance, why not consider this : 

🌈 Defining what’s balance 
↳ Is Balance 50:50? Everybody’s “balance” is defined by personal context, which can change, and it does, all the time. 

↳ It is not about things being equal but instead about prioritization of what is important to us.

🌈 Reframing it as work life harmony 
↳ Work is part of life, isn’t it? Instead of treating it as conflicting items, why not treating it as one, recognizing that our career is a big part of our identity. 

↳ How we can learn to harmonise and optimise it with frequent breaks, doing something that brings us energy while having fun at work. 

🌈 Cultivating a sense of purpose 
↳ Research has shown that people who have a sense of purpose and fulfillment in their work tend to be more engaged, motivated, and productive, leading to greater success and satisfaction in their personal lives.

➟ We’ll always feel out of balance if we are doing work that we don’t find engaging and meaningful.

🔀 By integrating our work and personal lives, we can create a more fulfilling and rewarding existence that transcends the limitations of traditional work-life balance models.

How I grew my followers from 2K to 18K in 2 years 📈

2 years ago when I started to show up on LinkedIn, I wanted to champion my own work in elevating well-being 🧘🏻‍♀️ and building high performance team. 

If I don’t, who will right? 

I started sharing my solopreneurship journey, my struggles, milestones and everything in between.

Imagine waking up in the morning feeling tired, as if you haven't slept at all 🥱

Your body is heavy 
Your mind is cloudy ☁️ 

Simple tasks seem like huge mountains to climb.

You go through your day feeling drained and joyless. 

Things that used to excite you now feel pointless. 

You're quick to get angry and feel alone, even when you're with others.

By the end of the day, you're counting the minutes until you can go to bed. 

But even there, your mind won't stop racing, and sleep feels like a distant dream.

It was 2021, I felt exactly that 

I was burnout, I fell sick so frequently 🫠

My heart raced million times per second 😵‍💫

Got triggered so easily 😮‍💨

It got so bad I had to take a force break 

It was a wake up call for me

I realised — Health is our greatest wealth. 

Without health, we : 
❌ can’t run our own race 
❌ can’t pursue our dreams 
❌ can’t fulfill our mission 

Our physical and mental health is two sides of the same coin 🪙 

We need to take care of our well-being to function optimally 

Since then, I take control back of my life and design it on my own terms :

✍️ Journal daily 
🏃🏻‍♀️ Exercise daily 
🧘🏻‍♀️ Meditate daily 
🍃 Walk in nature 
🥗 Eat nutritious foods 
💧 Drink plenty of water 
😴 Sleep 7-8 hours daily 
🎧 Listen to podcast / learning 
⏰ Take intentional micro break 

I never felt so alive, happy, productive and fulfilled than ever. 😌

When you are well, you can achieve anything you want in life! 

This burnout episode has helped me to discover my calling to help people and organisations to elevate their well-being so that they can perform at their best! 💫

➟ No amount of money or job is worth sacrificing our health.

Deep down inside I asked myself - is that a public figure? 😂

Well, regardless of whether it's considered a public figure or not, I believe that true influence goes beyond badges and titles. 

In an era where everyone is chasing recognition, external validation, I dare to say that being a 'Top Voice' is not about the badge, but about the :

It’s finally my turn. 🥶

With a deep breath, I stepped into the tub, the cold water enveloping me like a thousand needles piercing my skin. 

I gasped for air, my body instinctively wanting to escape the cold 😫

But I forced myself to stay, to breathe, to embrace the discomfort. 

As the seconds ticked by, the initial shock gave way to a strange sense of calm. 

The biting cold transformed into a soothing coolness, and I felt my mind clear, my thoughts floating away like the steam rising from the surface of the water. 

The world around me seemed to stand still, the only sound is the beating of my own heart ♥️

After what felt like an eternity, I emerged from the ice bath, my body tingling with a newfound energy - I felt alive and invigorated.

How I learn influence from my 8-month-old niece 

Just spent sometime with my adorable niece, and guess what? 

This cutie never fails to amaze me, this time round she taught me the art of influence! 🚼✨

Here are three unexpected lessons I learned from her:

Stop ✋ feeding your fear, eat it! 

I dream to be a trainer when I was young 

👿 But the fear of speaking in public terrified me 

I dream to start my own business

😈 But the fear of failure freaks me out

I dream to make a positive impact 

😈 But the fear of rejection holds me back 

➟ The little voice inside of me that whispers I am not good enough 

➟ The little voice inside of me that stop me from taking action 

➟ The little voice inside of me that prevent me from living my dream 

How much is this little voice costing you in your life, my friend? 

Fear is invisible 🫥 force that stop us from realising our fullest potential 

Fear is there to protect us from potential ⚠️ danger 

Every time we put ourselves out there

We get exposed to the risk of being rejected, judged, failed 

But on the other side of the fear is freedom 

It’s where our dreams are 

Yesterday, we had to eat fire 🔥 

I walk on the fire before but to eat it? 

Terrifying! 😱 

But I was committed to face my fear head on

I took a deep breath 😮‍💨 

Imagined all the fears that stopped me from : 
- Growing my business
- Becoming a better leader 
- Living a live I truly deserve 

And ate all my self doubts  

It was such an empowering experience 

I left the mastermind retreat with so much power, courage and confidence 

Knowing that if I can eat 🔥 I can conquer anything that comes my way! 💥

11 years ago, I walked into an Emotional Intelligence workshop

Only to find myself inspired by none other than the super passionate facilitator, Dominic Siow

40 pairs of eyes 👀 look at me in pity 

I returned back to my seat and I cried 😭 

I flunked my final year English oral test 

A fear of public speaking haunted me for the longest time 👻 

Migrating to Singapore presented a double challenge: adapting to a new culture and battling a deep-seated fear of public speaking, on top of limited English.
