To address a critical shortfall in the U.S. industrial base and bring a new model to aerospace and defense systems, I design and manufacture the world’s leading propulsion systems for space, hypersonic applications, and missile systems. 

- Spearhead Aerospace & Defense Lean Manufacturing transformative and strategic initiatives optimizing productivity while eliminating costly waste streams.
- Own engine-level manufacturing. 
- Directly support manufacturing development efforts in multiple technical areas across disciplines including combustion devices, turbomachinery, components, and avionics. 
- Establish and communicate design for manufacturing principles in a collaborative role with the design engineering group 
- Champion early development hardware to enable aggressive development engine programs, committing a hands-on role to first builds 
- Support critical production needs for scaling, cost reduction, yield/quality related issues  
- Lead strategic insourcing efforts across the manufacturing landscape 
- Develop, publish, and maintain manufacturing and process specifications 
- Troubleshoot engine and component hardware issues in the field, develop solutions with the Ursa team and customer, and lead implementation 
- Identify and implement engine improvements focused on customer needs, risk reduction, and end-use 
- Travel to customer sites to support field services

Spearhead and support all Danfoss Power Solutions corporate efforts requiring Continuous Improvement Expertise while acting as a consultant to manufacturing, supply chain, engineering and quality department managers.

Attain and own tangible results in terms of optimizing quality, delivery, cost, and cash flow by ensuring an efficient value chain.

Directly responsible for:
•	Ambitiously leading facility and operations start up efforts primed for rapid scaling of manufacturing capacity.
•	Optimizing facility labor & resource capacity planning:
      o	Equipment and labor hours workflow balance.
•	Creating an efficient training program improving visibility on, and analysis of, our Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT).
•	Securing performance in the plant regarding Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
•	Modeling strategic thinking and technical know-how by way of hands-on leadership and expertise.
•	Developing, implementing and managing manufacturing layouts and workflows to achieve Operational Excellence. 
•	Validating appropriate applications of a wide variety of business improvement tools within the Danfoss Business Systems toolkit; maximizing synergies and reducing cost through waste reduction, inventory management and improvement of flow.
•	Driving and improving results by leveraging lean tools, consulting skills, and change management processes.
•	Creating long term activity roadmaps and lean transformation projects for our factories including Kaizen and step change projects. 
•	Fostering creativity, innovation, and a broader perspective in decision-making while positively influencing our immediate professional surroundings.
