Internal ownership of technology used across the Insurance platform.  Single point of contact for business and liaison with IT Manager.  Create, prioritize and manage the application management platform roadmap to ensure applications and processes are strategically aligned with business objectives. Manager accountabilities for the Business Application team.
• Product Owner for full Guidewire Insurance suite: Policy Center, Billing Center, Claims Center, Consumer Portal (Quote/Buy, Account Management) and Agent’s Gateway Portal.
• Member of Enterprise Steering Committee for Salesforce project team launching the CRM tool within AAA business units and  Insurance division to improve customer journey experience. 
• Providing system enhancement and improvement roadmap for Applied EPIC agency management tool.
• Coordinate and facilitate Business project plan in collaboration with Insurance IT and LOB managers.

Business Application Manager

Product Owner to Insurance IT informed of the business objectives and priorities, empowered to deliver, available to the delivery team, domain knowledgeable and acts as subject matter expert.   Responsible for converting the product vision into a workable product roadmap through forward-looking planning, regular product backlog maintenance, and tactical prioritization of tasks.  Connects the business stakeholders and development teams by managing solution delivery expectations and keeping information flowing in both directions.  Facilitates product backlog prioritization with business stakeholders to maximize ROI.  Builds consensus for a defined roadmap and provides day-to-day tactical direction for the team.  Accountability for managing stakeholder expectations.  Defines user acceptance tests.

Business Analyst

Acts as marketing representative for all distribution channels visiting agencies in assigned territory encompassing the State.  Responsible for monitoring and fostering agency relationships.  Communicates premium and/or submission level commitments to existing agency partner to meet overall territory goals.  Assists in the design of marketing materials and web content.  Provides marketing information to agents regarding product opportunities, how to transact business and responds to basic inquiries on insurance products, underwriting, and technology for the Company.   Trains new agents on technologies, appetite, and product.  Composes and distributes regular agent communication regarding product, opportunities, technology, changes, and enhancements via email or in person.  Sets up appointment with prospective agents and appoints new agencies.  Assists prospective agents in preparing Company appointment application, obtains necessary agency licensing and producer information required for appointment process, and prepares new agency contract.  Attends conventions and other industry function to maintain visibility to current and potential agents.  Communicates issues raised by individual agents and troubleshoots accordingly.  Identifies and communicates changes in the market regarding competitors, coverage forms, pricing, and other items that may arise.  Completes and updates reports, facilitates, and participates in Sales meetings.  Performs related duties as directed or as situation dictates.
