Director, Open Source Audio

Led team of security experts in delivering software security validation services for emerging open source technologies across Intel business units. Focused team resources on new security features like Intel® Trust Domain Extensions that add value to 4th Gen Intel® Xeon® processors.

Led team delivering long-term, low-level Linux support for new and existing Intel platforms to internal business units.  This enables Intel to support its products for multiple years cost effectively.  Increased delivery cadence from monthly to weekly by adding improved automation to accelerate security incident response times.

Director, LTS Products for Linux

Led team to deliver a High-Performance Computing (HPC) software product for Linux. This is a complete HPC software stack for Linux-based clusters.  Developed and delivered on detailed product plan for first version of the product.  Doubled team size and developed team practices for sustainability, while enforcing quality and reliability standards.

Director, HPC Software Engineering

Led a team delivering development tools for application developers.   Team delivered central elements of expanded mobile app developer suite. Led delivery of an improved user-experience for the suite by leading design and development of a new menu system which included innovations for application tracking.

Director, Performance Client Integration team

Managed software engineering team building tools for client application ISVs.  Developed strategy and product definition to enable and ease application development for Android on x86.  Delivered this “no hassle” install and updates of Android native app environment.  Led team delivery of Intel’s first Android app developer suite on Windows, MacOS and Linux hosts in less than four months from concept to Beta.

Software Engineering Manager

Led cross-geo teams in delivering Intel® Media SDK, Windows Hardware Media Foundation Transforms (HMFTs) products on 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ processors and later.  This established an Intel software product that enables video for each generation of Intel Processors including latest 13th Gen Intel® Core™ Processors.

Led team delivering MPEG-2 and H.264 video components for first Intel Atom® Processors and platforms.

Defined and managed Intel MPEG products for Consumer Electronics Group's TV set-top boxes based on Intel® 82854 GMCH

Software Application Engineer

Drove delivery of Intel Threading Tools product targeting software developers.  Developed and delivered training on threading and the tools to software developers.

Technical Marketing Engineer

Delivered product components for Intel Labs including video support (H.261, MPEG-2) for Intel ProShare and Intel VideoPhone applcations. Key team member delivering first real-time MPEG-2 software video encoder on Intel Pentium II systems. Developed innovative usages including USB in-camera compression, soccer animation of real games, and computer vision apps for Intel and Mattel's Smart Toy Lab.

Staff Software Engineer

Delivered Windows drivers for Intel Smart Video Recorder which enabled real-time Indeo video capture. Led delivery and integration of Indeo video codec for Intel ProShare conferencing products.

Sr. Software Engineer

Delivered Windows drivers and microcode for the Intel and IBM ActionMedia products that won Best of Show Fall 1991 COMDEX.

Sarnoff Corporation

Developed world’s first full-motion, video decompression playback system for PCs in 1987 at RCA David Sarnoff Laboratories.  Demonstrated it at Microsoft’s CD-ROM conference in Seattle.
