Managed the Product organization in the business with the following key roles:
- Established a product vision and roadmap aligned to the company goals that served Informal Merchants, Financial Service Institutions and FMCG partners 
- Served as a conduit between the end user, the development team and other key stakeholders
- Conducted in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and product differentiation strategies
- Drove product growth and delivery through scaling teams and streamlining the product development process

Mpesa Product Owner - Credit (M-Pesa Africa)

Key responsibilities:
* Defined the Squad Vision so that the development team can clearly visualise the expected outcome by the user 
* Prioritised the Product Backlog to best achieve goals, missions and maximum outcomes. 
* Oversaw development by participating in the overall development stages of the product. 
* Carried out competitor analysis 
*  Participated in the daily Scrums, Sprint Planning Meetings, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives 
* Agreed with the business and all stakeholders (internal and external) on the roadmap and deliverables for each quarter and drive implementation of the same 
* Grew acquisition and usage of the App by ensuring the app is relevant, engaging and accessible 
* Analysed customer insights, usage patterns, competition activities, and market scenario to draw

Product Owner - MySafaricom App

Key Responsibilities:
• Managing the home scrum team – vision building, sprint planning and product backlog management 
• Deliver the operating plan by achieving growth objectives set - customer acquisition, retention and revenue streams
• Stakeholder management - Liaising with internal and external stakeholders 
• Monitor competitor strategies and market trends in the industry
• Business case development and approval for new and existing products
• Product roadmap development for Home Solutions products
• Product framework development – insights generation, financial approval, technical delivery, Go to Market strategy and product launch
• Continuous improvement of the customer journey of launched products
• Grow customer touch-points during the product life cycle
• Setup a support framework for products after launch
• Fix customers issues arising to ensure that the Net Promoter Score is attained

Product Manager - Home Solutions

Key Responsibilities:
• Stakeholder management - Liaising with internal and external stakeholders 
• Creating new and innovative online advertising channels for the data products and ensure 
   products awareness 
• Generating sales for the online advertising platforms 
• Develop Online campaigns that lead to increase in product awareness 
• Ensure that Safaricom content platforms have fresh content in line with the regulatory 
   guideline
• Ensure that Safaricom content platforms (wap and web) have fresh content in line with the 
   regulatory guideline

Product Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities:
• Stakeholders engagement both internal and external
• Ensuring the Customer Management and Retail Team are well informed of the products being taken to market
• Carrying out CVM activities to target groups to stimulate data and content uptake
