When I was born in Trivandrum, India, the nurse told my mother in Malayalam that "This child has a sensitive mind. She will do anything for anyone." That prophecy has absolutely come true because I've dedicated my career and life work to helping people. I have gone through many career pivots and transitions over the past twenty years. After studying Comparative Literature at UC Davis, I did not know exactly what I wanted to do with my life. I also struggled with my own self-worth and questioned my abilities. Over the years, I've learned to embrace my non-traditional path and have built my confidence through experiencing a wide variety of industries and job roles. I have excelled in facilitation, culture building, writing, speaking and mentorship. I've worked as a teacher's assistant for emotionally disturbed teenage girls, an Ayurvedic practitioner, massage therapist, foreclosure and debut counselor and at workforce development nonprofits. Throughout my professional journey, I've been dedicated to helping people thrive and creating inclusive cultures. I am passionate about DEI, social justice, trauma-informed yoga, healing, coaching and mentorship. My core values are authenticity, belonging and connection and I excel at bringing people together.
