Director of Innovation R&D, Global Tequila Innovation

Based in London reporting to the Innovation R&D Director for Europe, Africa & APAC.
•	Leading a team of liquid scientists, sensory & consumer guidance, pack & design teams to deliver brilliant innovations across Europe markets (including Turkey) from Diageo's World Class Innovation Centre of Excellence.
•	Diageo is the world’s leading premium drinks business, with £13bn annual turnover, operating in 180 countries, with over 200 brands including Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Captain Morgan and Guinness. Revitalising our global brands through creating innovation strategies, based in deep consumer insight, which drive disproportionate recruitment into our key brands, enabling them to beat their key competitors. 
•	Driving a disruptive approach to unlock the next wave of growth for Diageo through driving R&D breakthroughs, creating new categories and disrupting stagnant categories. 
•	Recent launches have included Tanqueray 0.0%, Smirnoff Raspberry Crush, Guinness 0.0%, Smirnoff Seltzers, Johnnie Walker Blonde and Bailey’s Colada.

I lead have previously led Diageo’s Europe Innovation R&D team by blending science & technology with creative brilliance to develop brilliant liquids, packs and designs across the entire Diageo brand portfolio that delights customers and consumers. 

I'm currently on a 2 year secondment leading Diageo's North America and Latin America Innovation R&D team with a focus on tequila, liqueurs, white spirits and no & lo alcohol categories.
