Building a sustainable company from scratch with 20 equal co-founders is a really exciting adventure. At HTW Berlin, the Digital Work seminar helps students in finding the right tools & strategies for working digitally and in virtual teams.

I develop concepts to combine digital work in online teams with the design thinking approach that helps students to shape their team & tools the way they need it. In this project-based seminar we brief participants about user research, need finding and problem definition. Their findings are used to ideate and build high to low fidelity prototypes that can be used to solve complex problems for their user.

HTW Berlin | Digital Work | Co-Lecturer & Digital Design Thinking Coach

I pursued my Master's Degree in Business Communication Management after completing my Bachelor's Degree in the same field at HTW Berlin. My Master Thesis on innovation barriers and success factors when implementing design thinking innovation is currently under review and formal graduation is expected in the beginning of 2017.

My curriculum included classes in design, management, coaching, leadership, entrepreneuership, communication studies, business studies, marketing, psychology, sociology, rhetoric, intercultural studies and foreign languages.

During my studies I worked on several projects in the fields of design thinking, image film production and conversion optimization, which you can see as project refrences further below.

As research assistant to Prof. Dr. Stefanie Rathje at HTW Berlin I help with researching intercultural communication and multicollective competences for the app 'Cohesion Catalyst'​. For the app I help perform user testing, event marketing & communication as well as editing publications for 'Interculture Journal', a scientific online journal with focus on intercultural studies and communication.
