Freelance Medical Content Specialist

☑ PHARMACEUTICS, Spain and Global, Content Creator & Instructional Designer.
Supporting Mission Train, a 18-month initiative, I was instrumental in establishing a turnkey solution by creating a comprehensive blueprint and implementing a robust process. I developed high-quality, multichannel training materials designed to educate and engage global teams and country affiliates. Utilising authoring tools such as Articulate Rise and Genial.ly, alongside AI tools like Synthesia and Veed.io, I delivered in-person workshops, interviewed SMEs, created storyboards, and crafted compelling copy. These materials catered to both customer-facing and internal training needs, encompassing website and e-learning platforms on LMS (Cornerstone).
A formal process was instituted for updating product training deliverables, with a dedicated Gsite housing the training catalogue. This catalogue included modules on Demand Management, Customer Success, Market Access, Reporting, Onboarding, Release Notes (Gorilla and Iguana), Consolidated Training, and Medical. The training's impact was measured through high engagement, completion, and satisfaction rates.  In English and Spanish, with some use of French and German.

Measured Impact:
☑ Implemented a course creation process and a course blueprint, improving efficiency and reducing costs by making this in-house and no longer reliant on external agencies 
☑ Streamlined training material updates, improving training consistency and efficiency.

Summary:
At Roche, frequent updates to their HCP-facing software every 3 to 6 months often rendered in-house training materials obsolete. My mission was to implement a scalable, rapid, and cost-effective turnkey solution using AI and video generation to create and subsequently update training materials in-house.

I have filmed several hundred Video Tutorials used in TEFL training and EFL online courses, covering Grammar and Phonetics modules but also Lexis and Exam Skills.
I am also helping implement and constantly supplement an e-learning platform which uses - in part - my video tutorials and my material (developed for French and English mainly, but also German and Spanish, general and exam preparation). I also develop the teachers' guidebooks to ensure a standardised class delivery.
I am a proficient user of WordPress (Front End) - and before, Drupal - FinalCutPro and Photoshop. I have created the content from A to Z - of several websites.
I have also acted as an Online Development Project Manager for an e-learning platform covering General English, Exam Preparation in English (IELTS, FCE, CAE, TOEFL, TOEIC), Business English, French, Spanish, and German.

My responsibilities include:

Content Review and Simplification:
* I am responsible for the meticulous review of content to ensure its accuracy and clarity.
* I apply my skills in simplification to transform complex financial concepts into information that is easily understandable by a diverse audience (young, but also more expert).
* I ensure that the content is not only informative but also engaging, adapting it to the different levels of financial knowledge of users.

Translation of Financial Texts:
* I translate financial texts from English to French, from French to English, but also to German and Spanish, ensuring their accessibility to an international audience.
* This task requires a deep understanding of financial jargon in different languages to ensure the fidelity and accuracy of the translations.
* Close collaboration with experts (for each section or complete course) to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the content, and integration of feedback into the final texts.

Creation of Educational Games and Quizzes:
* I design and develop interactive games and quizzes to make financial learning more attractive.
* These educational tools are designed to test and reinforce users' knowledge of finance, while offering a fun and engaging learning experience (Gamification and Quizzes).

User Testing and Suggestions for Platform Improvement:
* I actively participate in user testing to evaluate the effectiveness and user experience of the application.

✅ Topics covered: telehealth, telecare, teleexperience, telemonitoring, medical regulation, teleconsultation.
✅ Creation of content for a government subsidised and expert-led nursing training programme, which includes writing summaries, questions, tests and instructions for the visual production team (videos by the health expert to be filmed alone or with a presenter) . Materials provided by the client: PowerPoint, PDF documents, images, all regarding the key concepts that were to be covered by the health expert in video format.
✅ Detailed design (Storyboard) of the telehealth module, organising the content of the programme and determining how it would be presented to the learners (nurses). With an Airtable proforma I presented the information, using text, images, prompts for video or other multimedia content, with a detailed plan for each module of the programme, while indicating how the content should be presented and how students could interact with it.
✅ Organised the content for an LMS, either Rise or Articulate Storyline (platform to be determined later by the client), while allowing to visualise and plan the structure and course of the video production, as well as ensure that all aspects were covered effectively.
