Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibility for onsite engineering control for the technical and quality aspects of TBM excavation.
Produce shift reports giving daily analysis of the technical events during the TBM excavation and any production delays.
Propose improvements to TBM operation.
Cooperate with the survey team to control and reposition the TBM guidance system.
Successful implementation of the TBM production method statements and their updates.
Provide support and information to the Tunnel Foreman during the tunnel production phase.
Elevate any issues of non-compliance of the TBM instruction Form and maintain records of production and quality performance.
The issuing of relevant permits, e.g. tunnel entry, hot works, track works etc.
