I started in sales in early 2010, “selling the Internet” over the phone to people listing their properties in newspapers. It was insane that back then the Internet was just an afterthought as people preferred to sell their houses and land in a newspaper. So, I was cold-calling these folks to convince them to move their listings online to get a better reach and increase their potential to find buyers. That little push I was giving them turned into a 14-year-old curiosity about what makes people tick online. This curiosity has drove me to work all the possible jobs in digital marketing and product, across B2B SaaS, ecommerce, ed-tech, agency, etc. My path is filled with learnings about how to work with data, how effectively communicate the value of data, digging into the why behind user actions, and somewhere along the line, mobile app optimisation, AI & Experimentation became my playground. I’ve done everything from increasing lead generation, fixing leaky funnels, increasing customer lifetime value, improving the way we do messaging and onboarding in SaaS or mobile apps to making sure the digital experience feels just right for the users. Every role and every project was about pushing my limits, learning something new, and making sure we’re listening to what users are telling us, even when they’re not speaking. It’s been a wild ride figuring out digital marketing, and honestly, I’m just gearing up for the next challenge.
