Efficiently and effectively resolve cases or alerts within required time-line relative to Financial Crimes function.

Utilize multiple internal and external applications to assist in the investigation and research of all applicable alerts.

Communicate with clients and internal departments to gather required documents needed to proceed with claim and to advise of claim decision.

Participate in BSA/AML/OFAC and/or Fraud related training to stay abreast of any related changing laws and regulations.

Income Properties for Conforming loans
 
Demonstrate the ability to review and underwrite all loans assigned (daily goal 20); to determine the acceptance of State, Federal, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mae guidelines for the funding and/or future selling of the loan

Review and analyze collateral appraisals, title reports, FEMA flood maps and other legal documents to determine subjects value and it meets compliance

Evaluating and ensuring overall credit line increase transaction is accurate, complete, and compliant. 

Apply knowledge of standard underwriting procedures, creditor financial analysis techniques to determine customers repay capability. 

Review and analyze financial statements, credit bureau reports, and applicable ratios (i.e. debt ratios). 

Perform extensive research to resolve complex underwriting issues. 

Implementation of fraud detection and prevention techniques, review customers personal information to make sure it matches, performing compliance reviews. 

Understand the use of the automated scoring system. 

Receive inbound phone from internal and external customers regarding status and questions about application process or underwriting decision.

Order documentation required to complete the verification of application information; including financial statements, credit reports and updates, appraisals, title reports, and insurance and flood
verification.  

Proactively manage a pipeline in a timely, accurately, and efficiently manner.

Communicate with borrowers, underwriters, vendors and internal departments to ensure they are aware of the loan status and any required documents. 

Calculate qualifying rations to determine creditworthiness.

Communicate the loan approval decision to internal and external clients. 

Respond to and resolve any customer concerns related to the processing and/or collection of documents needed for the loan, personal or commercial documents. 

Provide excellent customer service by having thorough knowledge of the loan process. 

Provide accurate and timely updates to the borrowers via telephone or email.

Accepts legal documents; reviews for correct form and timeliness; annotates case files and status records to reflect receipt and due date for response or other actions required.

Prepares, coordinates and maintains docket calendars and tickler systems; reminds attorneys of court appearances and deadlines for submitting various actions or documents.

Establishes, maintains and closes case files or systems of legal records; annotates indexes and status records; compiles workload and status records; locates and abstracts data from files and records.

Receives, segregates, catalogs, stores and disposes of court exhibits according to nature of item.

Prepares and maintains a wide variety of records and reports related to the work.

Accepts payments for bail, fines and fees; issues receipts. 

Prepares and processes arrest warrants.
