-Mentored teams of educators as they expanded their capacity for leadership in Project-Based Learning by participating in the PBL Leadership Academy, a convening of 20 teams from middle and high schools across California
-Facilitated a collaborative project planning workshop for PBL Leadership Academy Fall Leadership Institute
-Designed and facilitated monthly coaching meetings that were responsive to my teams' unique needs, talents, and trajectory and supported their responsiveness to Perkins Special Populations in their school using PBL as a vehicle for equity

PROJECT-BASED LEARNING MENTOR

-Created a rich, varied, antiracist project-based curriculum for 6th-8th grade Humanities (history and English) that prioritized student choice and authentic, transformative work
-Designed visually engaging constructivist learning experiences using Adobe Photoshop, Google Suite, photography, photo and video editing software, and the Google Classroom and PowerSchool Learning Management Systems
-Designed creative and tailored structures to manage project work including budget, schedule, progress visualization and management systems, materials management systems, routines, and equitable grouping practices
-Co-planned and executed authentic exhibitions of project work with students, such as a public zine fest planned and facilitated by students
-Lead the LGBTQ+ Club and LGBTQ+ Activist Office Hours for LGBTQ+ students and allies, including facilitating student design of the club's structure and activities, in addition to a faculty LGBTQ+ affinity group
-Mentored Teaching Apprentices in the San Diego Teacher Residency as they completed their student teaching and sought a preliminary teaching credential.

-Develop original recipes and write weekly posts for Willow Bird Baking, a food blog designed to inspire home cooks to tackle challenging new recipes and, in the process, gain kitchen confidence
Used HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, and graphic design to create an engaging user experience
-Manage Willow Bird Baking’s social media presence on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and Google+, reaching thousands of readers each day
-Featured in Ladies’ Home Journal, Redbook Magazine, Better Homes & Gardens’ Delish Dish Blog, SAVEUR, Fine Cooking, The Charlotte Observer, Davidson Journal, The Kitchn, CNN’s Eatocracy, and elsewhere

-Created PASSION, DEEPEN, and I AM: three yearlong projects exploring personal passion, service passion, and career goals in grades 7-9, respectively, that form a unique scaffold for students to learn long-term project management skills throughout middle school
-Conducted school-wide professional development presentation, Waterskiing Across the Surface, on using project-based learning to add creativity and personal relevance to the curriculum
-Contributed to school community and culture by founding a literary journal written, published, marketed, and sold by students, Clover; creating a new middle school media center; supporting student-initiated businesses like needle felting; developing and maintaining our Middle School Portal for parent communication; and mentoring a small group of student advisees

-Contributed to school community and culture by developing cooking electives and after school camps, building the 6th grade service learning curriculum emphasizing animal advocacy, and mentoring a small group of student advisees
