This position is responsible for assisting in planning, development, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of Essentia Health’s employee well-being efforts in coordination with the Office of Well-Being and Total Rewards. The specialist will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the employee wellness program, including vendor relationships, direct employee contact, program marketing and communications. Key Responsibilities:
Contributes to the development, promotion and coordination of employee well-being programs and initiatives.
Works directly with well-being program vendors.
Utilizes internal wellness platform to pull reports, analyze program engagement, and write communications
Updates internal wellness website.
Assists in promoting and marketing of available wellness supports.
Coordinates communications and logistics for wellness offerings, programs and events
Interacts directly with employees, may include facilitation of group behavior change programs including virtual/and on-site workshops and lunch & learn presentations
Assists with site-level wellness champion development and ongoing engagement.
Facilitates site-level wellness related meetings.
Intakes well-being requests and triages within the Office of Well-Being and Total Rewards.
Responds to direct employee questions/concerns as needed.

The Dignitas Program "provides a common experience for first year students to develop a foundation for intellectual, personal and social integration. The theme of dignity is integrated throughout all courses in the Dignitas Program."
This course aids in the enhancement of knowledge, the development of pragmatic skills, and assessment of attitudes necessary to promote positive lifelong wellness decisions. Students will look at the intellectual, social, physical, emotional, occupational and spiritual components of wellness as it relates to the Benedictine values and human dignity.

Dignitas Faculty Member

Lead the implementation of strategies to reduce the spread of COVID-19, track the virus on campus, and implement culturally responsive strategies to promote behaviors that create a healthy campus environment. The coordinator implements strategies to assure community members receive relevant information and testing and track official communication from local, state, and national public health officials. 
Additional responsibilities include the development and implementation of protocol and processes related to the coordination of COVID case management, contact tracers, and quarantine/isolation.
