The Dignitas Program "provides a common experience for first year students to develop a foundation for intellectual, personal and social integration. The theme of dignity is integrated throughout all courses in the Dignitas Program."
This course aids in the enhancement of knowledge, the development of pragmatic skills, and assessment of attitudes necessary to promote positive lifelong wellness decisions. Students will look at the intellectual, social, physical, emotional, occupational and spiritual components of wellness as it relates to the Benedictine values and human dignity.

Dignitas Faculty Member

Lead the implementation of strategies to reduce the spread of COVID-19, track the virus on campus, and implement culturally responsive strategies to promote behaviors that create a healthy campus environment. The coordinator implements strategies to assure community members receive relevant information and testing and track official communication from local, state, and national public health officials. 
Additional responsibilities include the development and implementation of protocol and processes related to the coordination of COVID case management, contact tracers, and quarantine/isolation.
