As a Driven Learning Executive and Educator with over 20 years of experience, I have extensive demonstrated expertise in leading Student Success initiatives for higher education institutions. During my career, I have consistently exceeded enrollment goals, maintained strong graduation rates, and retained key delivery staff. I designed a research-based model of academic advising for online students, the Online Learner Advising Model (OLAM). I created a strength-based and shame resilience model of advising, the COMPASS Engagement Model. Finally, I designed an engagement model for texting communication plans known as SPARK. Leadership Style As a leader, I take a strength-based approach to developing people. Helping others identify what is working and maximizing their skills allows them to thrive. I also focus on developing a culture without shame through an emphasis on empathy, vulnerability, and authenticity.
