In a world where face-to-face interactions are increasingly rare (and AI has jumped into the competitive mix!), mastering the art of virtual influence is not just nice, it’s essential. Whether it's delivering a compelling virtual presentation or demo, gaining insights through virtual discovery or engaging with clients in an online meeting, sellers need to be able to convey the same level of confidence, credibility, and interest virtually as they do in person in order to develop valuable relationships, win more meetings and sales. Now for my selfie: I’m the author of three sales books, "Look Me In The Eye: Using Video to Build Relationships with Customers, Partners, & Teams," (named Top Sales book of 2021), "ACT Like a Sales Pro!" and "Sales Presentations for Dummies." My Acting for Sales blog, has been named a “Top 50 Sales & Marketing Blog” for ten years running and I've won the Brandon Hall Bronze Award for "Best Unique Learning and Development Program". Prior to founding Performance Sales & Training, I spent 20 years walking the talk as a sales leader in a variety of competitive industries, including technology, media and real estate. As a professional actor I performed in over 50 commercials, films and television shows, including HBO’s Sex & the City and studied on-camera acting at HB Studios and the American Academy of Dramatic Art in New York. This professional training and experience informs much of my work with virtual communications.
