Manager, Employment Services National Projects

Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission specifically, support better management reporting, business development and branding.
Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Employment  Services (Accounting/Finance and  IT).
Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.

Supported by the Ontario Government, Navigating the Canadian IT Workplace project is to help internationally trained IT professionals get ready to integrate into the Canadian workplace and to get their first professional work experience in Canada.
Role:
Work with the Program Manager to coordinate project development and implementation including delivery, evaluation, stakeholder and funder relations. Network and build partnerships with local employers and stakeholders and develop job leads and placement opportunities.
Promote continuous improvements to the ELT programs: curriculum development, placement arrangements, program delivery and evaluation.
 Prepare and coordinate all reports to funder agencies pertaining to programs and in regard to planning and evaluation.
Develop and execute an effective outreach strategy targeting appropriate qualified clients.

Sourced and built strong pipelines of qualified individuals from various online job sites, 3rd party vendors and various recruiting strategies to fill Customer Service and Management roles.
Developed, maintained and leveraged business relationships with key Government Agencies and met all recruitment and branding needs.
Partnered with management, payroll and benefit departments and managed all new hires on-boarding initiatives and termination activities in compliance with legal rules and HR related issues.
Managed and coached large teams across Eastern Canada, established buy-in and secured understanding, commitment and consistent thought leadership approach to all recruitment and staff development design activities.

Prepared job posting descriptions for all openings (from entry level to Executive level) and ensured that all positions were advertised in various newspapers, agencies and job boards.
Conducted interviews with potential employees, prepared job offers for select candidates and prepared relocation package materials for all Senior Management applicants. 
Identified current and prospective staffing needs in collaboration with client companies and coordinated placement of advertisements with select agencies.
Sourced and consistently attracted qualified candidates from search firms, employment agencies, newspapers, web listings and trade journal advertisements.
