My background is as a security engineer with particular interest in penetration testing, threat modeling and vulnerability exploitation, with nearly two decades of experience under my belt. In the past I discovered previously unknown security vulnerabilities in several popular software (published CVEs include: CVE-2003-0277, CVE-2004-1390, CVE-2004-1391, CVE-2004-1683, CVE-2004-1682, CVE-2004-1681, CVE-2005-2725, CVE-2006-4907, CVE-2007-5805, CVE-2019-10044, CVE-2019-9970, CVE-2019-15237, CVE-2019-15103, CVE-2020-13431, CVE-2020-14197). Eventually I present at conferences, having participated as a speaker in Chaos Communication Camp, H2HC, Ekoparty, CONFidence, Talk 'N Roll, Nokia Test Dive and others. I was never into certifications as I believe most of them are of low value and nothing but a cash cow for accreditation boards, but some of them are challenging and worth taking; I hold OSCP, CREST and that's pretty much it.
