Army National Guard

For 18 years, I have been serving in the Army National Guard of the United States as an 11B Infantryman with the States[/Commonwealths] of Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland in a plethora of different types of Infantry units; which have included "Light", Heavy Weapons/Anti-Tank, Stryker Vehicle, Long Range Surveillance Airborne, Stryker-based Reconnaissance, Personal Security Detail, and S-3 Operations at Brigade level. I have been assigned a plethora of titles and duty assignments such as: Rifleman, Machine Gunner, Stryker Combat Vehicle Driver and Vehicle Commander/Gunner, MRAP Max Pro M1123 Driver, Man-portable Electronic Magnetic Counter-IED Device Operator, Radio Telephone Operator, Senior Scout/Observer, Operations Assistant, Headquarters Section NCOIC, Fire Team Leader, and more recently Squad Leader.

I have served overseas in both wartime and through the participation of various international military training exercises/exchanges in which I have worked closely alongside American NATO and non-NATO Allies in locations such as: 1) Iraq for "Operation Iraqi Freedom", from January to September 2009; 2) Latvia for "Operation Saber Strike", October 2010; 3) Australia for "Operation Talisman Sabre", July 2011; 4) Lithuania for a Foreign Airborne Exchange Parachute Operation, June 2018; and 5) North Macedonia for "Operation Decisive Strike", June 2019. Furthermore, I have trained/worked with Allied Soldiers from Australia, Latvia, Estonia, Bosnia, Lithuania, and Macedonia.  

Military courses that I have successfully attended/completed include: Stryker Combat Vehicle Driver's Course (2008), Warrior Leadership Course (2012), Basic Airborne School (2012), PAS-13 Thermal Optic Course (2013), Squad Designated Marksmanship Course (2016). Air Assault School (2022), Advanced Leaders Course (2023).

•Instructed on how to properly compile/write reports following Intelligence Community (IC) requirements and standards.
•Trained in mitigating Foreign Ownership Control and Influence (FOCI) of potential and current technological-based businesses contracted by the U.S. Defense Department

**Unfortunately, this contract was not renewed by DoD/DCSA, and thus my employment will conclude on 29 SEP 2024**

Risk Mitigation Specialist

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc.

Was employed with this establishment for civilian employment as a Uniformed Protection Officer (UPO), then later as a Site Supervisor with the U.S. State Department's Domestic Facilities Protection (DFP) Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) contract in the Washington D.C./National Capital Region (NCR) area. Through the demonstration of my professionalism, adaptability, humility, and ingenuity I have been specifically selected for various positions which bestow a high degree of responsibility which is crucial for daily security operations, such as being a member of the "Special Operations Unit."

Through the demonstration of strict physical deterrence, I had helped to provide for the safety and security for various distinguishable visitors/guests, Department of State employees and contractors, and sensitive materials. Further, I helped to properly compile and review official reports and documents, such as "Offense/Incident Reports," for submission to the U.S. Government. 

Through this job, I am endowed with particular skills and certifications such as being First Aid/CPR certified, qualified on the SIG P229 9mm pistol, and being sworn-in as an official Special Deputy Marshal of the U.S. Marshal Service.  
  
As of May 2021, I have been officially promoted into a part-time Supervisor position, which allows me to oversee and lead Uniformed Protection Officers within the National Capital Region area; while providing effective leadership and mentorship to both subordinates and peers. 

As of August 06, 2023, I was promoted to a Full-time Site Supervisor.

While working for this establishment, I was able to work with some really outstanding individuals who possess a grand work ethic and motivation to be proficient with their tasks. While working for this establishment, I was entrusted in the safe handling of customer's personal belongings, responsible for company equipment, and instilling teamwork and motivation among fellow crewmembers. 

As a "Team Leader," I had direct contact with the customer(s) to ensure that their desires where properly met with extreme proficiency and efficiency.

Briefly worked here between the aforementioned dates as a Driver/Guard for Dunbar Armor's armored money transportation vehicles. I was entrusted with the safety and security of both corporate property [i.e. the armored transportation vehicle], the armored transportation vehicle's contents which would normally include copious amounts of monetary items, the "Hopper" [or the designated partner who would be responsible for all monetary transactions], and even that of the safety and security of civilian pedestrians and motorists on a daily shift throughout the Northern Virginia and southern Maryland regions.

Working within my local community transiting "door-to-door" collecting vital information that was required by the U.S. Census Bureau/U.S. Department of Commerce to completely facilitate the 2010 Census.
