I assisted the Managing Intellectual Property Attorney in building, maintaining, and enforcing the company’s trademark portfolio, managing licensing and co-branding relationships with partners, and offering guidance to the company’s employees on the selection and development of new brands. As the lead assistant in trademark licensing projects, I coordinated complex co-existence agreements with third parties to allow the company to use its mark in significant markets. I was also in charge of managing the company's domain name portfolio which required me to draft and execute domain name purchase agreements, create a framework for protecting trademarks across gTLDs and ccTLDs, and investigate links between infringing websites. I also managed the successful prosecution of several UDRP complaints, allowing the company to recover high-value domain names and bust counterfeiting rings.
