As a business owner and video content creator, I help technology change the world faster through visual communication. I have over seven years of experience in 3D design, motion graphics, and creative problem solving, working with high-tech startups and leading agencies in the industry. I am passionate about creating high-impact video content that showcases the innovation and potential of technology for various audiences and platforms.

I started my own business in October 2020, after freelancing for more than a year under my personal corporation, Fractal Noise. My goal is to expand my skill set, retain the freedom to do the kind of work that makes me happy, and make my clients happy too. I enjoy collaborating with other talented and driven professionals, and I always strive to deliver solutions that exceed expectations and communicate effectively. I am inspired by athletics, music, travel, and literature, and I seek to incorporate these elements into my work whenever possible.

A public safety system shouldn't make you feel like you’re living in an episode of Black Mirror. I think that’s one of the core features Flock Safety gets right.

All over the United States, police are stretched thin. Solving property crimes is like finding a needle in a haystack. Communities need solutions that work without sacrificing the feeling of a free, open neighborhood. That's why any tech that can deter crime and close cases faster, without violating privacy is welcome. 

Flock Safety offers a platform of solar-powered  cameras and sensors. Their license plate recognition network is helping solve crimes. People are recovering stolen vehicles and having safer communities without invasive facial tracking. 

The cameras have no glaring red light or a sinister, robotic pan-and-tilt. They are just quiet, observant sentinels that blend into the background. You might not even notice them, which is the point. Safety without surveillance theater.

I like that the cameras operate in a network. If a crime happens in the North, the cameras can map the suspect vehicle's entire path across the city. Investigators can then collect isolated clues to build a concrete story.

But then, there's a problem; 

An invisible system like this invites skepticism. Cities and communities, including the ACLU Oregon, are fighting Flock Safety because trust isn't earned yet. You can claim "privacy-first" all day, but in a world skeptical of tech, people need to see it to believe it.

How 3D visualization can help everyone out.

1. Show the privacy protocols in action:
Rather than tell us about privacy and data deletion, can you show us with 3D videos? 

Imagine a 3D animation that takes us inside the algorithm. We watch a car pass, and the AI intentionally blurs the human figure to focus on the vehicle fingerprint. We see data flowing through secure channels with visual locks. 

Then we see the moment on Day 31 when data is automatically and permanently shredded from the cloud.

2. Visualize the data journey
   
In addition to maps and dots, you should try a cinematic sequence.

Show us how data travels from the camera lens to the detective's desk to your cloud server. Make the invisible visible. Show encryption happening in real-time, and  how the network communicates without storing personal information.

3. Show us the transformation; 
Your scenario walkthroughs explain how it works. 

We also need to see neighborhoods thriving because of it. Show the grandmother walking at sunset. Kids biking to school again, and the business owner sleeping through the night. 

This is what makes it a logical purchase AND an emotional imperative for any community leader.

We simply communicate complex technology using CGI.

I threw an 83-page PDF in the trash recently, and the VP who sent it was furious.

"Do you know how many hours our team spent on that?"
Hundreds, probably.
And that's exactly the problem.

Because if I didn't read it, and I was paid to care, what are your customers doing with yours?

From a broader standpoint: Documentation isn't broken. The format is.

Given the choice between a PDF and a video, most people, myself included, click play first.

Am I wrong here? 
When was the last time you actually read a lengthy PDF cover-to-cover instead of finding a YouTube Tutorial?

People often ask me the "secret" to building a creative company. And I find that fascinating because if this were an engineering firm, I could point to methodologies, frameworks, or some quantifiable metrics. 

But for a creative company? It's a whole different ball game. Every artist sees things through their own lens. Clients also need flexibility to ensure their product is captured from all angles. So, you just can't "engineer art." All you can do is cultivate the conditions for it to flourish. 

So how do I build a creative team?

My answer is deceptively simple, though the execution is everything: Your number one job is to assemble the right people, and then have the courage to trust them completely. Especially when it is uncomfortable.

You can't just hire against a job description. I mean, look for the skills, but more importantly, look for the energy and passion that aligns with your company's mission. Look for people whose eyes light up when they trusted to handle their part.

But what I've learned is this: having the right people is only half the battle. The other half is remembering that we're all cogs in a wheel, and I mean that in the most respectful way possible. 

Even as the owner and a member of the 3D production team, I see myself as just one part of a larger machine. From marketing, to our newest intern, everyone on board has a critical role to play.

The machine only works when we trust each other rather than micromanage. We must believe in each cog's ability to spin without constant oversight. Because the moment you start doubting and hovering, the entire machine grinds to a halt.

I think Marcus's video is a perfect case study of what that looks like in action.

Tech companies don't pay me for 3D videos.

They buy the expectation of what my service will do for them. That often makes me wonder: 

What builds those expectations?

Before they approach me, most CEOs, CMOs, and CTOs already know they need something. Like you'd know when you need a car. 

But it's not the same as knowing this service or solution is the one that fulfills their need.

Just like knowing you need a car is not as specific as knowing the exact make, model, and dealership that's perfect for you.

So, the real friction point is convincing them to choose this specific solution or innovation over the ten thousand alternatives out there: by raising their expectations.

As a producer or service provider, there's a problem with talking your way through it: talk too much and they start to distrust you. Words are vague and every listener hears a slightly different version.

So, I show them instead. I share previous work (free of NDAs), measurable impact, and a detailed breakdown of how my 3D videos help similar companies achieve similar goals. 

I SHOW them our superior features and how those features solve their specific problem right now. This alone closes the deal faster than words ever could.

I have found this principle applies whether you're selling 3D videos like me, B2B hardware, or abstract services like cybersecurity, Fintech, or Biotech. 



The reminder isn't just to invest in videos. 
Invest in the ones that:
📌Demonstrate your value better than you could ever explain it.
 📌Show your targets how you help them achieve what they're chasing fast.

A robot shaving your face shouldn't make you flinch. I think that's one of the features the creators of Noematrix are obsessed with... And it interesting to see. 

Back story: Shaving with a straight razor is an art. An experience reserved for someone you trust. It requires delicateness, steady hands, precise angles, and real-time adjustments as the blade glides across skin. One wrong move and you're bleeding. 

Introducing a robot into this intimate act will raise eyebrows and questions naturally. Questions about safety, precision, and whether skilled barbers are about to lose their jobs. That aside, I would say any technology that can replicate this level of artistry is a very bold breakthrough.

And that's what fascinates me about Noematrix's robot. 

This autonomous robot is built to handle tasks that require extreme precision, like shaving someone's face.  
In their recent demo, Lu Cewu, cofounder of Noematrix, actually let the robot shave him. He's regarded as the first person in the world to be shaved by a robot. 

You could tell from the video that it wasn’t the most relaxing spa moment.But who can blame him? 😂

Still, the technology is impressive.

What I find really intriguing is the force feedback system. The robot has high-precision sensors that detect pressure and resistance instantaneously. If your head moves mid-shave, the AI recalibrates immediately. So, it is not just pre-programmed motions.

The company is proving that embodied AI can handle tasks where millimeters matter and hesitation could mean injury. 

But here’s where I think the company could go even further:

People are scared of the robot and skeptical of the whole idea. To many, shaving isn’t a problem that needs AI and robotic solutions. So communicating the “why” behind such a system is just as important as demonstrating the “how.”

The company should create 3D explainer videos of the internal tools, sensors, and force feedback mechanisms that make this possible. Show the engineering. Answer the safety concerns visually. Let people see how it thinks and adapts in real-time.

This will turn people's skepticism into fascination.
