Emarsys is a Marketing Automation platform using Artificial Intelligence to drive personalised, 1:1 engagement across multiple channels.  In this role I was responsible for the Operation functions in APAC, across 3 different offices (Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong) and markets (ANZ, SEA & Greater China).  I led 53 team members across Pre-Sales Solution Selling, Implementation, Consulting and Technical Support teams, as well as providing Opportunity Coaching to the Sales Team.

Through Covid I had to reduce headcount, with redundancies, as well as employee agreed salary reductions.

I was the primary technical resource aligned to the field account teams.  I used superior communication and presentation skills to conduct deep dive discovery workshops to uncover prospects and customers business and technical objectives and requirements.  Then I would build and present customised product demonstrations and guide the prospect through Return on Investment realisation.

I provided product training and webinars across APAC, to customers and employees, including demo training and onboarding of the Sales team.  As well as present at Marketing Events.

As Emarsys was still in a growth phase as a startup, I also project managed 2 office fitouts and moves, as well as providing technical support for the local team.

Kenshoo is SaaS for performance media, using artificial intelligence to optimise performance and increase ROI across Search, Social and Display Advertising.

Supporting the ANZ sales team, I was responsible for communicating with prospective customers as to how Kenshoo will add value to their business and support their requirements.  I was required to ensure we had a deep understanding of the client’s requirements to ensure the Kenshoo solutions met their needs and provided a smooth & cuccessful implementation.

I was a technical lead for across IBM's Customer Experience Management Software.  This helped buisnesses understand their customers in more detail and then facilitated customer communication to improve the customer's experience and optimise the businesses ROI.

The primary responsibility of this role involved understanding an organisations strategy, their requirmenets and KPI's and then demonstrating to them how the IBM software could support them fulfill their strategy and obtain their KPI's.  This was completed via a consultative approach, understanding the clients key requirements and demonstrating how the technology can help them achieve this.

In this time I have worked with all of the major Online Retailers, Banks, Federal Government depts, Telco's & Travel companies.

This role included presenting at conferences, internationally, to audiences above 500 people.

As part of the Online Transformation Program, an $800M project to rebuild the Online Banking platform and design it to engage with existing customers.

I was tasked with developing the online sales strategy & pathways as well as ensuring we had the appropriate tools for understanding customer insights (Digital Analytics) and Sales Pathways (Online Sales) for the online channel.

Online Sales - Performance Manager

My primary responsibilty was looking after Westpac's interactions with Search Engines, including SEO, SEM & internal site search, as well as gaining customer insights through Web Analytics.

As the website was planning to go through a $50M refresh, including everything from infrastructure to user interface I acted as a Subject Matter Expert driving the requirements to ensure that the platform was designed to optimise the site to be Search Engine friendly and measurable.

As an extension to this I developed a strategic governance for 'Domain Name Management' & 'Marketing Tagging' to ensure Security, Analytics & Search dimensions of the site were correctly catered for.
