Digital Programs & Communications Manager

As the Digital Publications Program Manager at the Indigenous Curatorial Collective (ICCA), I lead the development of digital publications aligned with grant objectives. I have developed processes for publications and archives, established collections policies, and created strategic plans specific to digital programs, outreach, and communications. Currently, I am developing a comprehensive digital Indigenous art archive. My role also involves building and nurturing connections with artists and curators to ensure Indigenous voices are prominently featured. I manage the entire publication process, from content creation to copyright management, while overseeing the development and accessibility of our digital platform. Additionally, I coordinate project timelines, budgets, and resources to create impactful digital content that enhances the visibility and growth of Indigenous arts.

My role includes creating high-level brand strategies, developing integrated content strategies, and implementing technical solutions such as logo design, website design, and SEO development. I also handle data and analytics reporting, develop marketing policies, procedures, and processes, and create comprehensive brand guides. Additionally, I manage communication strategies and marketing materials, ensuring all elements align with brand objectives to enhance visibility and effectiveness.

As a member of the City of Regina Civic Art and Cultural Collections Sector Reference Group, I provide expert guidance on the management of art collections, public art projects, and the accessioning and deaccessioning of artworks. My focus is on enhancing Regina's cultural landscape by increasing public engagement through art, ensuring that our city's artistic assets are accessible and resonate with the community. I collaborate with a diverse group of cultural professionals to foster a vibrant connection between the public and the rich cultural heritage of Regina.

CARFAC National

As a Director on the CARFAC National Board and a member of the Communications Committee, I provide strategic direction and oversee the organization’s management and programs. My role includes attending Board meetings, reviewing and approving budgets and financial statements, and ensuring compliance with by-laws. I stay informed about CARFAC’s mission and policies, report on regional and artistic community concerns, and participate in policy planning. I support regional artists through discussions, presentations, and workshops, and maintain regular communication with CARFAC’s President and Executive Director. Additionally, I prepare Regional Affiliate reports and actively contribute to Board committees.

I have experience as the chair for meetings & AGMs in accordance with Robert's Rules of Order and working closely with the Executive Director. I work with the Board of Directors and the Exective Directors of the board to work on setting goals, defining organizational policies informed by mandates, strategic planning, developing the values, vision, and mission of the organization and approving plans to achieve our goals. We operate with the understanding that policy is the purview of the board and procedures and operations are left to the staff.

Continuing work from Metrics Online Marketing, I successfully transitioned clients, built the website and helped develop the brand identity. Responsible for the development and implementation of standard operating procedures, work breakdown structures, and task checklists. I have also developed Quarterly goals outlined by department benchmarks, by position for individual growth, and the President’s goals for the company.
Manage digital marketing operations; aid the Executive team in developing processes, policies, and procedures. Manage the information database for all client files.
Responsible for ensuring all project management and deliverables are executed in accordance with stakeholders’ expectations, managing client communications, and develop marketing proposals and working with other departments to develop processes to support the operations of the company.
Assist all creative marketing roles: build, update and develop responsively designed websites with a key focus on company branding and SEO, creating and developing conversion copy and graphic design visual content.

Vice President, Accounts & Operations Manager

Metrics Online Marketing

Metrics Online Marketing dissolved, and employment transitioned to Encompass Online Marketing. In this role, I organized internal client assets and implemented the transition of the company to Encompass Online Marketing, a client-focused agency. I designed websites and logos, developed SEO, created social media content, and copywriting for a variety of functions. Working with very little instruction or guidance, I was able to maintain client branding and increase the quality of customer service that the organization was known for.

Creative Marketing Specialist

North Canadian Construction

Formerly Superior Contracting & Garage, dissolved into North Canadian Construction. I aided in the implementation of Superior Contracting's rebrand. I designed the website and logo for the first rebrand but we opted to rebrand again. I developed branded documents and maintained the website; however my administrative role evolved. I coordinated and facilitate meetings, scheduled site walkthroughs and developed the branded materials subcontractors required. I managed company calendars and a variety of emails. I performed duties of a project manager such as creating construction invoices, budgets, schedules, and developed many construction estimates based off of supplied videos. I ordered materials being mindful of lead times, start dates, and schedules while providing accounts receivables and accounts payables and signing cheques. I continued to manage content and social media accounts while creating graphics, updating and developing websites, managing social media, writing blogs for SEO, as well as designing signage, apparel, original content and more.
