I have found myself at the intersection of law and politics for more than two decades. Since 2001, I have practiced primarily in the area of commercial litigation and was a founding member of the State Bar of Nevada Litigation Section. After serving as a partner in two larger regional firms, my law partner Nicole and I opened a boutique litigation firm, Jones Lovelock, where we provide curated service to clients in business, construction and related legal matters. In addition to being a legal advocate, I've had the honor of giving back to my community in public roles, first in the Nevada State Senate (2012-2014), and, since 2019, as a member of the Clark County Board of Commissioners. Since joining the County Commission, I've championed issues including economic development, mental health access, water conservation, and transportation. I also serve as Chair of the Regional Transportation Commission and Regional Flood Control District, Vice Chair of the Clark County Redevelopment Agency, and on the Board of Directors of the Southern Nevada Water Authority and Southern Nevada Regional Planning Coalition. I also previously served on non-profit and community boards, including as Chair of the Volunteer Center of Southern Nevada and on the Board of Directors for United Way of Southern Nevada and Emerge Nevada.
