•	Reduced levels of operational deficiency by developing specific support policies, plans and schedules.

•	Created a mechanism used by all stakeholders that controlled spend outside of agreed contractual budgets.
•	Provide technical guidance for all support publications and manage the introduction of amendments ensuring configuration control is maintained.

•	Acted as project manager and captain for a campaign that resulted in the successful crossing of the Atlantic Ocean in a rowing boat and over £30,000 raised for the Movember Foundation.
•	Successfully created and managed a marketing strategy and social media campaign that led to in excess of £100,000 being sponsored to the team to fund the challenge.
•	Organised a tour of 36-hour events in 8 cities across England to help raise awareness of the challenge; led discussions with local councils to agree locations, site permissions and risk assessments.
•	Formed and maintained relationships with sponsors and regional news teams to keep the team in the public eye and receive press coverage; the team featured in over 50 different forms of press.
•	Carried out motivational talks across England and Ireland to between 20 and 2,000 attendees.

•	Managed a team responsible for the identification and definition of interfaces across the Weapon Handling and Launch Systems on the Successor project.
•	Completely transformed and optimised the process used by our main customer for the handling of interfaces. This revised process identified an issue with the customer’s boat structure that resulted in a significant saving to the programme.
•	Created and implemented a new method for the generation of five key customer deliverables, reducing the time taken to produce each one by 20 hours.
•	Developed a tool for managing internal interfaces between Babcock supplied equipment enabling key risks to be highlighted and their status tracked.

Senior Systems Engineer

•	Lead design engineer for the NGVs on the Trent XWB 84k.
•	Led a multi disciplinary team from concept generation through to manufacture for parts used on the Trent XWB 84k, delivering components with improved safety and reduced lifecycle cost.
•	Identified and mitigated risks throughout the project, ensuring key stakeholders were aware of the significant concerns.
•	Planned and managed team members responsibilities, ensuring design, supply chain and manufacturing schedules were in line with the Project requirements for delivery and that the overall cost to the customer remained within budget.
•	Built and maintained positive relationships with suppliers through weekly discussions; these led to a reduction in non-conformance and cost whilst achieving production ready rates. 
•	Ran successful workshops with suppliers to identify ways in which cost could be reduced. These resulted in an overall cost decrease for the project, with unit cost for one critical component being reduced by 36%. 
•	Chaired weekly link calls with key members of the Project, both internal and external to Rolls Royce.
