LK was a social network focused on sharing & rewarding personal accomplishments. I joined as the first business hire and led all marketing and communications, growing membership from the initial Beta group of ~500 to 50K+.

Some highlights were:
– Mission: Inspire—Recruited 12 Olympians to post about their experience from London, during the 2012 summer games (including 2 "I just won gold!!" posts)
– Built brand partnerships with The North Face, Powerade ZERO, Men's Health, Prana, Bonobos, and dozens of others.
– Secured coverage by TIME, CNN, HLN, The Atlantic, Guardian, Forbes, Fast Company, Entrepreneur Magazine, Inc Magazine, TechCrunch, The Next Web, and 100+ others.

First teacher at the Seeds of Hope trade school, which serves children from local orphanages and favela communities. Created "SoHIP" program to prepare future long-term volunteers, including a syllabus and general materials for new teachers. Also organized community development programs and events, and assisted with international short-term volunteer teams.
