I am co-founder of Deeping St James Pharmacy with my husband Dakshesh Rajdev. We have a team of four who help us manage our Independent pharmacy business in Deeping St. James Pharmacy. In 2018,  I wanted to help my local community and help women return back into employment or self employment. I was short listed for Voom 2018 Virgin Impact Award which gave me an opportunity to have self belief in my idea. I have helped many  women into full-time and part time employment. I have helped many  women start a business from our mastermind workshops. I also work at my pharmacy as a medicine counter assistant. I have supported the community in many ways. I have been a volunteer as qualified and skilled complementary therapist for Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall hospice for ten years. This experience also helped me learn more about palliative care at the hospice. During lockdown , I decided to start my online workshops to help my local community of Peterborough. The online business masterminds gave me opportunity to learn more about the challenges and problems that small business owners experienced so group mastermind was appreciated by my local community in Peterborough. This helped community spirit and lifted few of the pandemic challenges and having supportive network helped us grow together.

I also joined other networking groups to offer my Pro Bono services and it has helped me develop professionally as a business coach and mentor. These skills of mentorship are transferrable to my pharmacy business and working as medicine counter assistant helped me improve my Customer services at my pharmacy.

Helping aspiring entrepreneurs, small businesses to grow! We offer monthly membership workshops online, non- members or annual membership workshops which will help you grow personally and professionally. 

Our live zoom mastermind and guest speaker sessions have helped gain support, group accountability, build relationships internationally and their business network, through collaborations, Co-working and solving challenges through brainstorming sessions. We share ideas , knowledge and skills and creating opportunities to grow further from the support of serial entrepreneurs and business professionals.

Our online group mastermind and guest speaker sessions have impacted through education, empowerment and motivation. Our coffee meet ups can be arranged online! 

The social enterprise was short listed in Voom 2018 for the Virgin Impact Award. The mission to serve through service with a smile, empower aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals who are starting from an idea and need help to see if it is a viable business. 

Jyoti Rajdev’s idea started through Allia Future Business Centre in Peterborough and was selected to attend idea to validation programme, grow your business programme. 

Jyoti Rajdev is an ambassador for Allia Future Business and wants to help make that positive impact and amplify the impact through zoom online workshops. 

Her mission is to educate, motivate, empower, and offer solutions to overcome obstacles such as imposter syndrome, shiny object syndrome, self sabotage, self doubts and lack of confidence. These are the stumbling blocks that can impact an aspiring entrepreneur and we help them with actionable steps. 

These are just few of the obstacles that need to be addressed. 

Her mission is to raise awareness that if you are consistently showing up, determined to solve a problem for your clients or provide products that solve your clients needs , you have a purpose and passion that will make a difference to many people and planet.

Deeping St James Pharmacy

Successfully launched and manages this pharmaceutical business, developing and implementing all initial aspects which included the sourcing and obtaining of stock, implementation and adherence in relation to health and hygiene standards in line with National Health Service requirements, the driving of growth through marketing and the introduction of a free delivery service.  
 
Ensures customers receive an outstanding service, continually managing any enquiries or issues through to resolution and adapting in line with objectives and needs.
 
Plays a pivotal role in delivering sustainability as well as significantly enhancing growth, this has been achieved through the use of social media, an extension to working hours and gaining publication within local papers and newspapers. Gains extensive recognition repeatedly which has included receiving the Guardian’s Marketing Excellence.

Additionally, I take a real interest in the local community and have thoroughly enjoyed assisting women in returning to employment following career gaps, this involved networking and researching.


I was selected for the Apprentice audition in 2015; this valuable experience gave me a greater understanding of finance and enterprise. I was also selected to attend a social venture weekend at Cambridge Judge Business School and at present on serious impact programme.
 
I have developed and launched a small project which involves working 4-6, 6-12 and 12-16 aged groups teaching them to have saving goals on a weekly basis. This project helped them to understand the value of saving.
 
Enhances employee knowledge through the provision of training in customer service and medicines, this has enabled customer appreciation and the results were measured by the external company Cambrian Alliance.
 
Drives growth and profitability. Enjoys networking with local community and helping small businesses connect with each other through social media.
