The author of "Killing Joke: Are You Receiving?" about the post-punk pioneers out on New Haven Publishing in November 2020, which has since been extremely well received by the press and fans. Since October 2021 I've worked as a full-time technical writer for Kempower and then from the fall of 2022 to early 2023 in the same role at Miradore (which later evolved into GoTo). In late 2020 I was hired to do a Nordic localisation for a project regarding the Google News Initiative and I also participated in delivering the webinars. In 2019 worked as a full time editor for Finnish weekly magazine Seiska. One of the biggest magazines in Finland. In 2018 I worked as a news organiser and assistant for a busy weekday evening news team in London. I'm a media graduate with nearly 6 years of experience as working as a shift librarian as well as an ingest operator and a transmission controller in a demanding broadcasting environment. Graduated with a a 2:1 from BA(Hons) in Media and Popular Culture and a postgraduate certificate from MA Cultural and Critical Studies. I’ve volunteered and worked for the Leeds and Bradford International Film Festivals along with the Leeds Film Quarter where I also worked as a co-ordinator. Most recent involvement came in 2007 when I worked as a venue and volunteer coordinator at Helsinki International Film Festival. I've been a freelance journalist for various publications around the world since 2008; in the UK I’ve contributed to Big Cheese and Vive Le Rock Magazines, Loud Fast Rules in the US and Rumba in Finland. I’ve composed music for independent films for such established independent directors as Devi Snively and Elisabeth Fies. Films featuring my music have been shown at such film festivals as the prestigious Cannes Independent.
