My role has bridged sales, operations, and marketing. I manage a remote team of 12, overseeing the execution of marketing efforts including email, webinars, influencer programs, podcast development + production, creative asset development, website CRO, newsletters, long-form blog content, prompt engineering for AI-generated content + members-only AI marketing group, and net new product led growth strategies + execution.

Key Results: 
- Produced a net-new podcast resulting in 50 episodes within the first 5 months, 1k digital assets, DAM build-out in AirTable, and content repurposing across email campaigns and AI-assisted long-form content.
- Owned email programs to send millions of emails over 12 months, increasing open rate averages 27% above benchmark and average CTOR 11% above benchmark.
- Reconfigured cold outbound operations leveraging AI and rebuilt the outbound tech stack. 
- Led cross-functional collaboration between marketing, sales teams, and business operations to align strategies, goals, and metrics for increased revenue generation and customer acquisition. 
- Led marketing efforts focused through the lens of decreasing customer acquisition costs and increasing customer lifetime value through non-paid channels.

I started my own marketing consultancy under Studio/Kaarin, serving a variety of clients across industries from B2B, to eCommerce, to local businesses, to influencers, inclusive of Fortune 1000 companies. Offerings included general marketing advisory work and audits, and niche campaign development for organic channels.

Key Results: 
- Drove strategy for relaunching a digital product which increased sales by 30%. 
- Developed top-of-funnel campaigns for professionals with no budget resulting in an immediate increase in leads. Supported existing content teams with creating content flywheels. 
- Developed customized marketing strategies for each client based on their specific industry and target audience, resulting in increased brand visibility and customer engagement. 
- Conducted market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the target market, and develop marketing strategies to capitalize on them.

I supported the launch of four startups and their expansion efforts through marketing, operations, and hands-on help. 

Key Results: 
- Grew The Great PNW from zero to one with full-stack support across business needs and used only organic channels and a hashtag strategy to leverage aggressive revenue growth to exceed $1M profit in the first few years. 
- Focused on eCommerce growth for The Laundry Room (apparel) while the founders focused on wholesale. My strategy and execution resulted in an 80% YoY growth of Shopify sales in the first 12 months, 10M+ impressions from free influencer partnerships, and managed a new paid ads agency to continue to drive that growth.

In my dedicated client-facing role at the marketing events agency, I oversaw production work, coordinated mobile marketing tours, and managed substantial client budgets across a variety of clients from Western Star Trucks, to Adidas, and Tillamook Cheese. For my main account, I spearheaded a 10-month-long marketing tour featuring mini VW buses for Tillamook Cheese across the Western and Southern United States. This included recruiting and training a team of 12 brand ambassadors and tour managers and coordinating with individual grocery stores across the nation’s top grocery chains (roughly 400 different event sites). Additionally, I collaborated effectively with multiple partner agencies and vendors for the client. I also executed onsite product activations at the Adidas campus for new product launches and corporate events.

I love helping others bring their dreams to fruition. The fast-paced, multifaceted world of startup culture is one I truly enjoy being a part of, as weird as that is to some people. My background is in psychology and the arts, which steered me to develop a freelance photography and graphic design business for more than a decade. 

Concurrently, I offered my help to entrepreneurs launching eCommerce ventures and brick-and-mortar storefronts, while also starting one of my own and growing it 400% in 2 years (long live Little Braap Racer!). My work experience has been diverse, with roles in agencies where I drove experiential marketing campaigns through events for the likes of Tillamook Cheese and Adidas, to leading operations for small-scale eCommerce brands from the ground up, and even consulting a spectrum of clients from Fortune 100 companies to local realtors.

I also love the science of gardening and am always down to talk about plants!
