Heading up special projects with a focus on the AI Verify Foundation, the government's first open-source endeavour aimed at helping organisations develop trusted AI systems. Was convinced of the exponential power of AI, and thus the need to harness it in a responsible way after leading the IMDA Innovation Team. My experience crosses 2B and 2C. Before this, I got myself seconded to Carousell Group as its first Corporate Strategy Director. I drove its US$1.1B funding round, making it 🇸🇬's unicorn. Also refreshed its corporate strategy, working across 6 entities, 8 markets and 700+ employees. Grew team value so much we 6x'ed its size. Prior to that, had 7 years of experience as a ministry policy wonk, across higher education, transport and manpower. Building up an open-source business and community for the public good, is a natural evolution of this journey.
