Reporting to the Category Manager, the purpose of this role was to provide procurement support to the category management team. 

Previously I provided procurement advice and training for the roll out of service panels. Reporting to the Procurement Team Lead, the purpose of this role is to provide procurement services and advice on procurement policies and procedure to end users, business stakeholders to Procurement users and vendors. 

This included developing and updating processes and corporate procedures. I provided training to Procurement Officers onsite and Brisbane based. I also travelled to QLD sites to provide training and support to key end users.

·	Conduct low risk sourcing initiatives, negotiating off contract spend with suppliers in the Industrial consumable category.

·	Negotiate ad hoc and off contract spend with suppliers in the Industrial Consumables category and ensuring deliveries are delivered in time. 
·	Monitor and drive supplier’s delivery performance through active management of expediting urgent or late deliveries, Purchase order/invoice, and good receipt reconciliation of blocked invoices. 
·	Ensure contract accuracy in pricing and material items in service and material categories in SAP
·	Create and maintain material and service SAP Agreements.

GLNG OPL Supply Chain - Short Term Contract 

•	Provide support to the Management and co-ordination of the day to day procurement of  materials that support the GLNG Curtis Island Plant requirements
•	Ensure all items are expedited in a timely manner in conjunction with all shutdowns and or planned maintenance
•	Attend planning meetings and give update on material availability
•	Provide weekly update on all issues to Contract Analyst – Materials Lead
•	Tactically source to enable best outcome for the Business
•	Provide strategic savings to the benefit of the Business
•	Work with existing materials contract and pricing agreements
•	Manage and co-ordinate the day to day procurement of materials that support the business

Procurement and Expediting Officer

Reporting to the Purchasing Supervisor, the purpose of this role is end to end purchasing while developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal functions to ensure operational material and service requirements are met in line with schedules. 

·	Conducted sourcing projects for OEM materials
·	Provide support to the project team by advising and sharing knowledge of the organization procurement policies and procedure.
·	Initiate the business partnering between the business and procurement to create relationships to work to understand scope and business requirements to ensure implementation of contracts are successful in delivering operational requirements.
·	Conduct analysis and reporting for the project team.
·	Provide end user training on procurement systems and purchase to pay procedures.
·	Captured supplier issues and negotiate contract.

ACHIVEMENTS: 
·	Identified incorrect engine type being purchased for a shutdown, lead root cause analysis, amended the data in SAP which resulted to a 500k savings. This achievement was highlighted by Head of procurement in Procurement Monthly Meeting 
·	Negotiated 25% savings on Rotables parts which was deemed not achievable due to the nature of the contract and supplier.
·	Identified savings for aftermarket parts highlighted in monthly Management meeting resulting a personal appraisal from the CFO.
·	Expediting Savings from expediting parts for a shutdown highlighted in management meeting 
·	Optimise contract spend through identifying parts to add to agreement.
·	Designed and rolled out Material Tracking Report in SAP to site which contributed to MIFOT increases across BMA BMC sites over the course of F16.
·	Driving alternative sourcing for OEM materials to deliver cost saving outcomes 
·	Identified savings opportunities weekly for the team, provided training to purchasing officers  on running sourcing projects and negotiation.
