As a Strategic Partnerships Manager at Give Us The Floor, I leverage my skills in project management, communication, and emotional intelligence to develop and maintain partnerships that increase member activation and engagement in the supportive group chats and wider community knowledge of our services. I have been working in this role for nine months, and I am passionate about empowering LGBTQ+ youth to find their voice and support each other. I am also a board member and founding member of the Octopus Movement, a non-profit organization that drives acceptance and awareness of the awesome abilities of atypical thinkers, such as neurodivergent and disabled people. I am a queer, neurodivergent, disabled, disability and mental health advocate myself, and I use my different perspective of the world and my years of studying human behavior to build inclusive and respectful communities. I am currently enrolled in a Master of Equality in Business program at Mission Equality, where I learn how to create more equitable and diverse workplaces and societies.
